Obituary
Mr. Edda C. Anderson, 73 of 2631 Sink Street passed away Friday, May 16, 2008 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born September 30, 2008 and was a native of Honea Path, SC.
He was a dedicated employee of RJ Reynolds and retired after 27+ years of service. He was also a faithful and outstanding member of the Elks Lodge on Patterson Avenue.
He was preceded in death by his father, Calvin D. Anderson; mother, Maggie Anderson; brother, Ottis Anderson; and sisters, Wilhemenia Burke and Barbara J. Evans.
Left to cherish his memories are a brother, Jimmy Anderson; his children, Carolyn (Bruce) Green, Dee Dee (James) Taylor, Yvette Anderson Baxley, Resa (Neil) Reaves, Marilyn Anderson, Camille Anderson, Chris (Donna) Eaton and Robert Anderson; a devoted niece, Charleator (Carl) Binns; and a host of other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm Wednesday, May 21, 2008 from the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 12:30pm until 1pm on Wednesday at the Chapel.
