Obituary
Earl R. Jones, 66 of 845 Rich Avenue passed away October 11, 2008 at the Wake Forest University/ Baptist Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Lee Jones and Arnetrius Jones; and two brothers, Alvin Jones and Walter B. Jones.
Surviving are his sister, Rebecca Green of the home; two nephews, Roger Green and Preston D. Jones of Winston-Salem, NC; first cousins, Everett (Bobbie) of Winston-Salem, NC, Rainey (Betty) Jones and Bob Jones both of South Carolina; Lee Jones, Jr. of San Diego, CA; and Porter and Cleveland Jones both of Winston-Salem, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon Friday, October 17, 2008 from the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Carlton Rucker officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12 Noon on Friday at the Chapel.
