Mrs. Drucella Jones "Druscilla or Mrs. Dru" reunited with the love of her life, Joseph Jones, on March 18, 2022. She was born on April 3, 1959 in Marion, North Carolina to Fred Wallace and Josephine Wallace. She was raised in Morganton, NC.

Drucella Jones graduated from Freedom High School in 1977. She was an employee of the Winston-Salem Transit Authority since 2013 as a customer service representative where her coworkers were her second family and made her days even better.

She was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband of 26 years, Joseph Jones; her parents, Fred Wallace and Josephine Wallace; and her sister, Brenda L. Wallace.

She leaves to cherish great memories, her children, Erica LaMone Jones, Christopher William (Debbie) Jones, and Kerri Yvonne Jones; her grandsons, Derek Javon McKay, Jr., Javier William Jones and Blake Bush; her brother, Perry L. Wallace (Flora) of Hickory; sisters, Sarah W. Tate (Butch), and Barbara A. Avery (Charles); her loving friend and coworker, Erica Lowery; four nieces; two nephews; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Drucella was a huge fan of college football, reading, crocheting and having family time with her kids and grandkids.

A viewing will be held from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at Russell Funeral Home.

Private funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 23, 2022.
