Ms. Dorothy Brandyce Miller, more affectionately known as "Brandie", was born in Statesville, NC on May 19, 1978 to Patricia Miller and Curtis Williams. She entered into rest on February 8, 2021 in Winston-Salem, NC.

Brandie graduated from Statesville High School in 1996 and then attended Lenoir Rhyne University with a Bachelor's Degree in 2000. After graduation, she moved to Winston-Salem where she later attended Winston Salem State University to obtain a second Bachelor's Degree and then UNC Greensboro where she graduated with her Master's Degree. She was pursuing her CPA license at the time of her death.

Brandie leaves to cherish the memory of her life mother, Patricia Miller, of the home; her father, Curtis Williams, of Statesville; three sisters, Sharonna Miller and Latoyia Miller, both of Winston-Salem; LaVaughn Williams of Virginia; two brothers, Russell (Rejohnda) Tucker of Troutman and Gregory Williams of Virginia; three maternal uncles, Carl Miller, Keith (Trina) Miller, and Nelson Miller, all of Statesville; three paternal aunts and one paternal uncle, Diane Glaspy, Frances Glaspy, Mary Lou Summers, and David Glaspy, all of Statesville; a special nephew, Brayden, to whom she affectionately referred to as "Muffin"; a best friend, Sparkle Williams, of Statesville; six godchildren, and a host of great aunts, great uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Monday, February 15, 2021 at Russell Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Christian Outreach of the Piedmont, 1424 Rickert Street, Statesville, NC 28677.  Interment will follow in the Clarks Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery, 806 Eufola Rd, Statesville, NC 28677.
