Doris Harris Williams was born December 19, 1934 in Winston-Salem, NC, the last child of 10 born to George and Fannie Harris.  She departed this earthly life on December 29, 2020.

Doris graduated from Lincoln Academy High School in Kings Mountain, NC and attended Winston-Salem Teachers College.

She was a member of Phillips Chapel Missionary Baptist Church where she served in the Sunday School, Wednesday Noon Bible Study, and was a member of the Hymn Choir.

Left to cherish her memories are her children, Quamaine and Shannon; her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; the Anthony, Harris, Morrison, McCollum, and Pearson Families; her dearly beloved church families; other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Russell Funeral Home.

Private funeral services will be held Thursday, January 7, 2021.  Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens.
