Obituary
Following a short and courageous battle with cancer, Mrs. Doris M. Harris departed this life peacefully on Monday, May 14, 2012 at the home of her daughter and son in-law Sharon and David Graham in Mt. Airy.
She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Russell Harris; three daughters, Sandra Crews and Elaine Brockman both of W-S, NC, and Sharon (David N.) Graham; two sisters, Mrs. Mildred (Mack W.)Tuttle and Ernestine Dillard; one brother, James Alvin Kinzer; 11 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1pm Saturday, May 19, 2012 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ernest McLaurin officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 12noon until 1pm on Saturday at the funeral home.
The family wishes to extend their appreciation to the staff at Premier Medical Associates, Piedmont Hematology and Oncology Associates and Mountain Valley Hospice for all services rendered to our dear Mother and the family.
