Mrs. Doretha Schoefield Rosemond went on her marvelous journey to be with the lord on July 1, 2021. She was born to Bishop Edward Schoefield and Minnie Bullard of Martinsville VA. She will be deeply missed by those that knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bishop Edward Schofield; mother, Minnie Bullard; stepmother, Evangelist Delmer Schoefield; sister, Susie Nelson; and brothers Henry Schoefield and Edward Schoefield.

She leaves to cherish her memories her son, Howard Schoefield; three grandchildren, Stacy Hatton (Jamel), Howard Ceasar (Allie), and Jasmine Ceasar; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Sam Schoefield (Veronica) and Ike Schoefield (Allethia); three sisters, Mary Ann Wooten, Ada Moorman, and Thelma Marsh (Ron); and a host of close family and friends that loved her dearly.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm-6:00pm Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Russell Funeral Home. Private services will be held Friday, July 9, 2021. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
