Dr. Donna Walker Reynolds, 64, of Winston-Salem, NC transitioned to Heaven the morning of October 9, 2020.
Born in New York City on July 30, 1956, the middle daughter of Mr. James and Mrs. Venice Walker. Dr. Reynolds lived a joyful life, fulfilling successful entrepreneurial consumer and educational businesses. Some of her greatest endeavors included her four businesses, FunTime Clown and Company, Dress Those Legs, Characters of Joy, and Bright Star Preschool and Childcare services. Professionally, she was also a retired labor and delivery nurse and worked as a Chaplain at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center and Tender Care Hospice. Her highest achievement being her doctorate in Divinity. Throughout her years, Donna personified the examples of strength, resilience, determination, faith, beauty, wit, charm, patience and perseverance. She enjoyed reading, traveling, instrumentation of the saxophone and piano, gardening, and adventurous activities especially being outdoors and in botanical spaces.
She was preceded in her transition by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. James Walker; and her twins, Gabriel & Gabriella Beasley from her 1st marriage to Terry Beasley Sr.; and her nephew, Eric Beasley.
She is survived by her husband Eddie Reynolds; daughter, Teresa Beasley; son, Terry Beasley Jr. and daughter-in-law, Nytia Beasley; son, Eddie Reynolds II; and she was awaiting the arrival of her first grandchild, her granddaughter, Nomi Beasley; stepdaughter, Tammy (Phillip) Morris; two sisters, Renee Walker and Monique Walker; former husband and friend, Terry Beasley, Sr.; bonus sister, Lisa Garrison; bonus daughter, Tierra Beasley; goddaughters, Lynneka and LaShonda Garrison; nieces and nephews, Cassandra Miree, Alexis Brower, Joseph Brower, Fredrick Oliver, III, Brian Walker, Adrian Beasley, Charles Beasley, Jr., Tiffany Logan, and Khalida Beasley; great nieces and nephews, Cassaun Miree, Aubrey Miree, Damon Miree, Diaunte Brower, Uri Brower-Ramos, Eric Beasley, II, Mya Nagel, Adrian Beasley, Charlie Rose Beasley and Ka-Bron Mahdee; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Russell Funeral Home.
Private funeral services will be held Friday, October 16, 2020.
