Mrs. Donna Marie Greenwood Vaughn of Charlotte, NC, passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2007 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born on August 2, 1967. She attended school in Winston-Salem, graduating from Reynolds High School class of 1984. She received her associates degree from King's College and her Bachelors in Accounting from High Point University.
Donna had a way of bringing out the best in people and this gift was exemplified in her achieving "Director's Status" in her Mary Kay business. Her proudest moment was becoming a Mother to her son, Myles.
Donna leaves to celebrate her life her husband, Donald Vaughn, Jr. and son, Master Myles Alexander Vaughn of Charlotte, NC; her parents, Shirley Greenwood of Winston-Salem, NC and Jerry Greenwood, Sr. of Burlington, NC; brothers, Anthony (Brandi) Johnson of Texas, Daryl (Daphne) Shuler of Raleigh, NC, Jerry Greenwood, Jr. of Charlotte, NC, and Thomas (Sheila) Greenwood of Winston-Salem, NC; sisters, Rachel Greenwood of Winston-Salem, NC and Sherry Greenwood-Leak of whom was her caretaker; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 12, 2007 at 2:00 PM from the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Johnny Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Gardens of Memory, Walkertown, NC. The family visitation will be held from 1:30 PM until 2:00 PM on Monday at the Chapel.
