Mr. Donald Skipwith, 3769 Cheshire Place Drive, passed away unexpectedly Monday, April 28, 2008 at his residence. He was born May 24, 1962 to Sam and Clara Skipwith. He was a lifelong resident of Winston-Salem, NC, where he attended the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools.

Mr. Skipwith was preceded in death by his sister, Catherine Skipwith.

Surviving are his wife, Cheryl Bradshaw Skipwith; two sons, Don Skipwith and Terry Hood; four brothers, Samuel (Brenda) Skipwith, Marvin (Cherie) Skipwith, Thomas Skipwith and Alfonzo (Ernshilda) Skipwith; two sisters, Carolyn Levine and Evonne (Thomas) Sims; one granddaughter, Omaya Williams; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon Monday, April 5, 2008 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend William Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. Family visitation will be held from 11:30 am until 12 Noon Monday at the funeral home.
