Obituary
Mr. Donald Rayvond Jones departed this life unexpectedly in Graham, NC on Thursday, May 22, 2008. He was born on September 23, 1935 in Winston-Salem, NC to William Arthur and Margaret Louise Jones.
He was a 1953 graduate of Atkins High School.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, William Reginald and Cleo Fransworth Jones.
His survivors include two sons, Dennis of Arlington, VA and Darius Jones (Franca) of Clarksburg, MD; one daughter, Darlene Jones-Dumas (Ronald); four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; two brothers, Clifton Jones (Gloria) of Tobaccoville, NC and Dedrick Jones (Charmaine) of Kernersville, NC; one aunt, Jessie Harris of Winston-Salem, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 12 Noon Saturday, May 31, 2008 from the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 950 File Street, W-S, NC.
