Donald R. Fulp, Sr. departed this life on Tuesday, July 2, 2019.  He was born December 30, 1950 in Forsyth County, NC to Preston & Janie Fulp, Sr.

Donald graduated from East Forsyth High School, was a US Army Veteran, and worked for Duke Energy where he was employed for over 40 years.

Donald was a hard worker, loving husband, great father, amazing grandfather, wonderful brother, and uncle.  He loved his children and grandchildren unconditionally.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Maybelle Mitchell; and his brother, Garry Fulp.

Surviving to cherish his loving memories are his wife, Betty Fulp of Winston-Salem, NC; two sons, Donald Fulp, Jr. and Christopher Fulp both of Winston-Salem, NC; daughter, Miranda (Korain) Fulp of Winston-Salem, NC; four grandchildren, Shay Fulp, Samson Fulp, KJ, and Brianna all of Winston-Salem, NC; three brothers, Preston (Wanda) Fulp, Jr. and Bill Fulp both of Winston-Salem, NC and Jerry Fulp of Walnut Cove, NC; three sisters, Nancy Fulp of Walnut Cove, NC, Mary Jane Fulp of Greensboro, NC, and Francene (Donnie) Hatcher of Rural Hall, NC; one great-aunt, Lucille Covington of Walnut Cove, NC; two aunts, Ella Mae Fulp of Walkertown, NC and Alice Manns of Walnut Cove, NC; uncle, Johnny Mac Manns of Walnut Cove, NC; mother-in-law, Louziel Scales; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Rest In Peace to a living legend, "BATMAN"

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Preston Fulp, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Mount Sinai/Fulp Family Cemetery, Belews Creek, NC.  The family visitation will be held from 12:00noon until 1:00pm on Wednesday at the Chapel.
