Mr. Donald George Clyburn passed away at his home on Tuesday, January 2, 2018.

Mr Donald Clyburn and his twin sister Doris, were born to the late George Clyburn and Roberta Mitchell Clyburn in Forsyth County, North Carolina on November 2, 1938.

He attended the public schools of Winston - Salem/ Forsyth County and graduated in 1958 from Atkins High School, after which he enlisted in The United States Army and was Honorably Discharged. He retired from the Winston Salem Journal after 37 years of service as a Press Room Foreman/Supervisor.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael Clyburn; brother, William Mitchell; and sister, Doris Clyburn Woodruff.

Survivors includes a loving wife, Ruby "Gigi" Clyburn; two sons, Apostle Stephan Jordan (Pamela) and Eric Clyburn ( Fiancé Tammy); one daughter, Marlene Clyburn; one stepdaughter, Kesha Hayes; elevens grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one brother, James E. (Clara) Clyburn; and numerous extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Red Bank Baptist Church. The family visitation will be held from 12noon until 1:00pm on Tuesday at the Church.
