Mr. Devonte Leon Hall of Winston-Salem, NC departed this life on June 21, 2020. He was born June 29, 1991 to Debrina Lynette Hall and Cedric Young.

He attended the local public schools of Forsyth County.

Devonte loved and enjoyed music and dancing. Most importantly he treasured his only daughter Draya LaNay McCullers who gave him his most comfort and joy. Devonte had a special gift of making people laugh and will forever be remembered by his smile.

He leaves to cherish loving memories his beautiful daughter, Draya McCullers; mother, Debrina Hall; father, Cedric Young; grandparents, Deborah King; DeLois Green, Shirley Young, and Joe Lewis Hall, Sr. (Peggy); two sisters, Deshontae Young and Ta'tyani Young; brothers, Demario Rivers, Michael Taylor, and Kishaun Burgess; aunts, Promis King, Nikki Hall, and Fontella Young; uncles, Joe Hall, Tim Young, Fred Young, and John Henry Young; his uncle man, Azzah Young; devoted girlfriend, Lashawnda Johnson; and a host of cousins and friends.

Devonte will be deeply missed by his daughter, mother, and family for he was the lifeline to their hearts. We will love him forever!

A viewing will be held from 12:00noon until 5:00pm Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at Russell Funeral Home.

Private funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 1, 2020.
