De'Shawn Lee Douglas came into this world on October 16, 1983. He left this world on Sunday, December 2, 2007. His untimely death has left us all sad and very unhappy. It is said to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord so we know he is in his place with the Lord.

De'Shawn was a graduate of Glenn High School. He was a member of the Deckmates Music Group, a group full of love and respect for one another. They were brothers for life, trusting one another through the good and the bad.

He leaves behind his daughter, A'Shauna Grace his pride and joy; his mother, Deborah Douglas Shannon; a brother, De'Anetay Shannon who was his best friend; his sister, Thessalona Shannon; grandparents, Jessie Campbell and Joseph and Ida Shannon; fathers, Harold, Joseph and Tilda Shannon; eight aunts, Deborah Pitts, Lori Douglas, Nadine Douglas, Cynthia Rice, Ruby Jean, Emma, Bertha, and Brenda Coachman; six uncles, William, Moony, Stephan, Joseph, Christopher Pitts all of Philadelphia, PA, and Darryl Campbell; his cousins were his love and his partners in life.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm, Saturday, December 8, 2007 at Life of Christ Ministry Church with Pastor Bernard Walker officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Family visitation will be held from 12 noon until 1 pm Saturday at the church.
