Obituary
Dennis Dunlap, 52, was born in Winston-Salem, NC on June 30, 1962 to Benjamin and Hattie Dunlap. He passed away on Friday, November 7, 2014 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
Dennis graduated from Parkland High School in 1980. He held several jobs during the course of his lifetime and most recently he worked for Magpie Properties, a non-residential building operators company. Dennis had a great sense of humor and loved a good laugh whenever possible. He enjoyed working on cars, cutting hair, fishing and he would never let you go hungry.
Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Benjamin Dunlap.
He leaves to cherish his memories three daughters, Sharmeila Blackwell of Winston-Salem, NC, Chaquoya Blackwell and Kashya Dunlap of Charlotte, NC; one son, Benjamin Dunlap of Winston-Salem, NC; mother, Hattie Dunlap; two sisters, Benita Jackson and Nicole (Joseph) Miller; special friend, Robinetta Blackwell; two nieces, a nephew, and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12noon Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Union Baptist Church with Pastor Richard C. Miller, Sr. officiating. The family visitation will be held from 11am until 12noon on Saturday at the Church.
