Dennis Alexander was born November 29, 1958 in Davie County, NC to Dennis J. and Mary M. Alexander.  He passed away unexpectedly on June 10, 2021 after a short illness at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

Dennis was educated in the Davie County Schools.  He worked for Lentz Warehouse and Sara Lee Corporation.

He was married to Venice S. Berry and was blessed with one son, Jason D. Young.

Dennis loved hobbies and being a jokester on the sly. He was proud of his model trains and of a being a member of the DC Cruziers Car Club.  Going to car shows in his '74 Nova was a great joy to him.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Vernice S. Alexander; son, Jason (Natalie); stepchildren, Reginald (Kristen) Berry, Roderick Berry, and Randall Berry; his mother, Mary Alexander; his grandchildren; and a number of relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 6:00pm Friday, June 18, 2021 at Russell Funeral Home. Private services will be held Saturday, June 19, 2021.
