Denise C. Watts, 58, departed this life on Sunday, October 26, 2014. She was born October 5, 1956 to Mamie McCormick and Clarence Thacker in W-S, NC. She attended the Forsyth County Public Schools and graduated from North Forsyth High School. She was employed for years with Aramark, Inc. and was a faithful member of Union Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. Sir Walter Mack, Jr.

Denise is survived by her mother, Mamie McCormick; her son, John Watts, III; grandchild, Imani Becoat; brother, Wayne Turner; sisters, Diane Johns, Victoria Nivens, Linda Davis, and Regina McCormick; along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 12noon Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12noon on Wednesday at the Chapel.
