Ms. Debra Denise Clark, 51 departed this earthly life on October 23, 2007 after a brief illness. She was born on January 23, 1956 in Winston-Salem, NC. She attended R.J. Reynolds High School and was formerly employed by Forsyth Medical Center and the Hampton Inn. Ms. Clark was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Boston; step-father, Ellsworth Boston; grandmothers, Margaret Crawford and Ruby Brown; and one sister, Velvet Boston.
Ms. Clark is survived by her father, Jessie (Shirley) Eaton; one daughter, Charlene (James) Moses, a son, Lamonte Clark; sisters, Constance Carlton, Sharon Brunson, Stephanie Walters, Sharon (Timothy) Jones, Beverly Eaton, and Trena Eaton all of Winston-Salem, NC, Brenda Ellis, Tracy Ellis, and Velvet Ellis all of Long Beach, CA; brothers, Kenneth (Sherry) Eaton, Michael Eaton, and Roland Eaton all of Winston-Salem, NC, Larry Smith of Mississippi, and Jesse Smith of New York; twenty grandchildren; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins; two devoted friends, Tara Hardy and Mary Howell; and a host of other friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm Saturday, October 27, 2007 from the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend William Brown officiating and Apostle Evelyn Monroe eulogist. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 12 Noon until 1pm on Saturday at the Chapel.
The funeral cortege will assemble and leave from the home of her aunt Doris Ham at 104 W. Arcadia Avenue.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home and Dr. Nick Crysson and the entire staff for the excellent care provided during Ms. Clark's time of illness.
