Deborah Ann Sinclair Washington peacefully answered the Master's call home on Saturday, November 3, 2018. She was born September 24, 1952 in Flint, Michigan. Deborah was the oldest daughter of the late Albert and Lenora Sinclair. She was educated in the Winston-Salem Forsyth County school system and was a graduate of Forsyth Technical College after which she became a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was employed by various nursing facilities throughout the years where she was dedicated and caring to her patients until her health declined.

Deborah was an avid poet and loved to complete jigsaw puzzles in her spare time. She loved country music; especially the Judds and she had a beautiful singing voice herself. She was always abreast of the latest political issues and enjoyed bringing comedic relief to anyone who needed a brighter day. For that reason, she was affectionately known by the dedicated nurses at Wake Forest Baptist Health as "Sunshine".

Left to cherish her memories are her children, Rev. Lawrence Russell (SoRoyal) Sinclair, Ebonie Latrice Sinclair (Lamonte Rucker), Melvin Lester Banger, Jr., and Michael Marquise Washington; her grandchildren, Danereka Sinclair, Demetrius Rucker, Meliah Banger, Shaniya Sinclair, Lamonte Rucker, Jr., Lawrence Sinclair, Jr., and Xandria Sinclair; two great-grandchildren, Amiya Cuthbertson and Rylan Sinclair; she also leaves to cherish her memory her devoted sister, Jacquelyn Sinclair (Leroy Roberson); special friends, Sotonya Washington, Carolyn Tuttle, and Dedric Woodruff; and a host of many other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00am Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel.  The family visitation will be held from 10:30am until 11:00pm on Saturday at the Chapel.
