Deborah Irene Hall Simmons, 61, was called to eternal rest and peace on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center.
Debbie is survived by her former husband, Carl Simmons of W-S, NC; her sons, Casey and Chad (LaKisha) both of W-S, NC; three grandsons, Christian Andrew of the home, Cameron Oliver and Cayden Alexander both of W-S, NC; one granddaughter, Mira Simone Sigmon; a loving and devoted sister & brother, Edith and Earnest Hall of Midway, NC; a devoted sister-in-law, Deborah S. Smith and brother-in-law, Henry Simmons Jr. (Brenda) both of W-S, NC; uncle, Norman Hall, Jr. of Upper Marlboro, MD; aunt, Edrena Thomas of Midway, NC; three nephews, Joshua Evan Smith of Chicago, IL, Kenneth Hall Sr. and Ja'Hen Marlin both of W-S, NC; one niece, Shanii Marlin of W-S, NC; great-niece Jada Smith; great-nephews, Kenneth Jr. and Jalen Hall and Justin Smith; as well has a host of family and friends.
Homegoing services will be held at 12noon Friday, October 10, 2014 at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, 1400 Fitch St. W-S, NC with Reverend Parthenia Galloway, her special friend of over 30 years at Morning Star officiating. Burial will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 11am until 12noon on Friday at the Church.
