Debbie LaVerne Williams was born April 16, 1956 in Winston-Salem, NC to Edith Williams and Wallace Hampton.  She passed away July 8, 2018 in Greensboro, NC.

She was a graduate of West Forsyth High School and was retired from Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, NC.  Debbie was a devoted member of Next Level Christian Church where she served in many capacities.  Her enjoyment of yard work and the Scrabble Board Game will be most remembered and valued by the highlight of her life, her son, Janard.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Hattie Williams.

Left to cherish her memories are her son, Janard Pierre (Jennifer Beckner) Moore; grandsons, Jamil and Justin Moore; brothers, James (Cheryl Poteat) Williams and Charles (Bonita) Williams; nephews, Brandon Williams and James Devalin Williams; niece, Adele Dotson; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12noon Friday, July 13, 2018 at Next Level Christian Center, 2222 W. Florida St. Greensboro, NC 27403 with Pastor Anthony Zollicoffer officiating.  Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.  The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12noon on Friday at the Church.
