Mr. David Len Paige was born on May 17, 1964 to Mrs. Doris Paige Foster and Mr. Wilbert Thompson.  He passed into eternal life on December 1, 2024.  David attended Parkland High School and graduated in 1982.  He then served in the United States Army for 13 years.  Following his military service, he worked for Snyder Trucking and Coastal Trucking Incorporated.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. Willie Proctor Paige and Geraldine Paige.

David leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Doris Paige Foster; his father, Wilbert Thompson; one daughter, Brianna Paige; grandson, Fabian Paige; devoted friend, Velma Paige; three brothers, Wilbert, Jr, Eric, and Anthony; one sister, Earestine; two aunts, Mary McCollum and Queen Allen; uncle, Elijah Paige; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will cherish his memory.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Sunday, December 8, 2024 at Russell Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Monday, December 9, 2024 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at 1:00pm in Salisbury National Cemetery, Salisbury, NC. The family visitation will be held from 10:30am until 11:00am on Monday at the Chapel.
