Daryl M. Kennedy, 42, passed away November 18, 2009. He was born November 16, 1967, as the third child to Dr. Charlie and Willie Kennedy in Winston-Salem, NC. He grew up there and attended Forsyth Country Day School where he graduated in 1986. He continued his education at Yale University where he graduated with a degree in Philosophy. He then received a law degree from Duke University and an MBA from Rollins College. After receiving his law degree, he moved to Florida where he practiced law.
He is survived by his father, Dr. Charlie L. Kennedy; his mother, Willie M. Kennedy; his older brother, Douglas A. Kennedy; his sister, Dr. Stacy D. Kennedy; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services were held Friday, November 20, 2009 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Orlando, FL.
The family will receive friends at 11am Saturday, November 28, 2009 in the Fellowship Hall of United Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow at 12Noon in Evergreen Cemetery.
