Mr. Darrin F. Glenn was born October 1, 1966 in Greer, South Carolina, to Doris Shaw Glenn and the late Edward Lee Glenn.

Darrin graduated from East Forsyth High School.  He joined the United States Navy where served as a Search and Rescue Swimmer (SAR).  After serving in the military, he attended Winston Salem State University and received his B.A. in Psychology. Darrin later received his master's degree from the University of the Rockies.  He worked within the mental health field, working mostly the adolescent and youth population. He was a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

Darrin was a very loving, kind, generous and sociable individual.  He always saw the best in others even when most would see the worst.  He always took care of everyone around him, stranger or familiar. He loved making everyone around him feel right at home.  Darrin was a diehard Washington Redskins (Commanders) fan and loved his fraternity.  If you were not a fan of Washington or a member of Kappa Alpha Psi he would say "everyone makes mistakes".

Darrin is survived by his wife, Marnie Glenn; three sons, Jordan Alford, Kameron Duncan and Xavier Hayes; his mother, Doris Glenn; four brothers, James (Camille) Glenn, Warren (Tessie) Glenn, Tony (Vanessa) Glenn and Jamie Glenn; two sisters, Margaret (Keith) Posley and Misty Lawrence; and a host of nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and dear friends.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Friday, May 6, 2022 at Russell Funeral Home.

Burial rites for Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. will be held at 5:15pm Friday, May 6, 2022 at Russell Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Saturday, May 7, 2022 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Walkertown, NC. The family visitation will be held from 10:30am until 11:00am on Saturday at the Chapel.
