Mr. Darrell J-Rald Shell, known as "Tank", passed away Thursday, December 5, 2019 at the age of 58, after a brief illness. Tank was born June 1, 1961 to Eleanor Shell and the late David Robinson.

Tank graduated from the Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools. He was the owner and operator of TK Scrap Metal. Tank was a joyous and fun loving person who loved his family and friends.

Left to cherish loving memories are his mother Eleanor Shell; three sisters, Mimi and Marcelle Shell and Tammy Miller; two brothers, James and Stepfon Shell; daughters, LeKeithia Hood, Ronda Hood, and Lamesha Simpson; sons, LeDarrell and Leander Crockett, D'Aaron Miller, Jamal Johnson, Leander Boyd, and Trevor Connor; and a host of loving grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm Monday, December 9, 2019 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. The family visitation will be held from 2:30pm until 3:00pm on Monday at the Chapel.
