Dan Junior Bennett, the oldest son of Daniel Bennett, Jr. and Annie Mae Bennett Isaac was born March 26, 1961 in Robeson County, NC. Dan graduated from Parkland High School and he served four years in the US Army. Although Dan was living at home with his mom, he departed this life at the KB Reynolds Hospice Home on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 5:30pm.
His paternal and maternal grandparents, whom he loved dearly, preceded him in death. Before Dan died he said, "I am going home to be with my Grandma." His family and friend will miss Dan greatly, but today, we believe that he is with his Grandma.
Dan was a humble, kind, gentle, caring, and loving person. He enjoyed reading the Bible daily. He would read the Bible from Genesis to Revelations, and then he would start at the beginning reading Genesis again. He loved the Lord and the Word. He loved his Mom, Dad, Brothers, Sisters, Family and Friends unconditionally. Regardless of how many times you talked to Dan, he would always end the conversation with "I love you, and may God bless you."
He leaves to cherish his precious memories his mother, Annie Mae Isaac (William); father, Daniel Bennett, Jr. (Patricia) of W-S, NC; three brothers, Tony Bennett of Atlanta, GA, Timothy Bennett of the home, and Andrew Jarrett (Roberta) of W-S, NC; one sister, Tasha Jarrett of W-S, NC; a special sister-in-law, Gwyn Bennett of Riverdale, GA; six aunts, Luvenia Manning of Rowland, NC, Virginia Jones of Durham, NC, Minister Alberta Arnette McMillian (Billie) of W-S, NC, Nellie B.
