Mr. Crawford Dean Shell, 59, of Crystal Towers-625 W. 6 ^th St., passed away Monday, October 30, 2017 at Wake Forest Baptist Health. Crawford was born on April 9, 1958 to Roberta S. Myers and the late Rossie Shell, Sr. Crawford did many things in life including working in construction in which his family had done in the earlier year. He enjoyed life, and being with his family.

Crawford was preceded in death by his father; and brothers, Reginald Wayne Shell and Rossie Shell, Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Roberta S. Myers; daughter, LaTosha (Shawn) Wilson; grandchildren, Sariyah Wilson and Shawn Wilson, Jr.; sisters, Barbara Shell and Cynthia Haleigh; brothers, Michael Shell and Keith Shell; nephews, Damien (Janay) Shell and Rossie Shell, III; niece, Alvina (Chad) Scales; great-nephew, Chaelin Scales; and a host of aunts, cousins, and friends.

A celebration of his life will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, November 4, 2017 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ann Dalton officiating.  Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 12:30pm until 1:00pm on Saturday at the Chapel.
