Cornell Hancock, loving father and grandfather, died on May 16, 2017 at the age of 84 in Winston-Salem, NC.

Cornell worked over thirty-five years in flooring for Styron Flooring Covering. He enjoyed fishing, listening to music, and spending time with family.

He was preceded in death by his sons, Little Man and Cornell, Jr.

Cornell is survived by his children, Gail Hancock, Melvernia Holly, Kenneth Holly, Kris Holly, and Mia Holly; grandchildren, Ashante Scriven and Trinity Holly-Jackson; his sister, Rosa Mae Miller; and a host of nephews, nieces, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00pm Saturday, May 20, 2017 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel.  The family visitation will be held from 2:30pm until 3:00pm on Saturday at the Chapel.
