Obituary
On Thursday, March 13, 2008 God, out of his tender mercy, called Cora Eva Mae Miller home to Glory. Eva Mae was born to Clifton Odell Miller and Cora Louise Miller on October 15, 1946. She resided at 115 North Gordon Avenue Apt #2, but spent most of her life in the Piney Grove Community. Eva Mae was a faithful member of Piney Grove Baptist Church.
When she couldn't make it to church, she was always listening to the church services on TV or listening to it on the radio.
She was preceded in death by her father; brothers, Lester Odell Miller, Romie Perry Miller, and Larry Aldine (Caretha B.)Miller.
Her call to Glory leaves the following to rejoice in her homegoing and cherish her memory; her mother, Cora Louise Miller; two sisters, Brenda Faye Miller (Richard) and Rebecca M. Butler (Wade) both of Winston-Salem, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Thursday, March 20, 2008 from the Piney Grove Baptist Church with Reverend James Linville officiating. Interment will follow in the Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 1pm until 2pm on Thursday at the Church.
