Kernersville, NC-Cora Orlena Lowery Fulton, 88, of 1655 Piney Grove Road, departed this life Wednesday morning, March 4, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center.
She was born in Forsyth County November 2, 1919 to Cabel Lowery and Emma Brooks Lowery where she also attended the public schools. She was a long-time member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church where she was an active member of various boards and auxiliaries.
Her beloved husband, John Justice Fulton, departed this life January 9th of this year. .
Her memory will be cherished by four sons, Justice Carl Wesley Fulton (Millie) of Mocksville, NC, Ronald Lee Fulton (Joyce), Rev. Clay V. Fulton (Bernell) of Kernersville, NC; and Timothy M. Fulton of High Point, NC.; a loving brother-in-law, Clifton Fulton, Sr. of Kernersville, NC; three beloved sisters-in-law, Neva Taylor of Walkertown, NC, Geneva Fulton of Kernersville, NC, and Katherine Fulton Watkins of Springwood Care Center in Winston-Salem, NC; she leaves eleven grandchildren, eleven great- grand children, and one great-great- grandchild; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Homegoing Services will be held at 12Noon Saturday, March 7, 2009 from the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 3978 Pinehall Rd. Walkertown, NC with Reverend I. L. Anthony officiating. Interment will follow in Eastlawn Gardens of Memory, Kernersville, NC. The family visitation will be held from 11am until 12noon on Saturday at the Church.
