Mrs. Cora Louise Armstrong Miller, 89 passed away unexpectedly on April 6, 2009. She was born June 27, 1919 in East Bend, NC to Paul Henderson and Mattie Louise Sawyer Armstrong. Mrs. Miller was a devoted member of Piney Grove Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Clifton Odell Miller; three sons, Lester Odell Miller, Larry Aldine Miller, and Romie Perry Miller; and one daughter, Cora Eva Mae Miller.

Surviving her is one half sister, Ann Holloway of Buffalo, NY; two daughters, Brenda Faye Miller (Richard) and Rebecca M. Butler (Wade, Sr.) both of Winston-Salem, NC; Cora was a devoted mother and grandmother who embraced all of life's offerings. She was kindhearted and always there to help others; greeting her world with a smile and enthusiasm.

Homegoing services will be conducted at 2pm Saturday, April 11, 2009 from the Piney Grove Baptist Church with Reverend James Linville officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 1pm until 2pm on Saturday at the Church.

Mrs. Miller will be dearly missed here on earth, but will be a blessing to God in Heaven.
