Constance Elaine Wilson…Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt transitioned from her earthly body into our Heavenly Father's arms on March 20, 2023. Constance Elaine Wilson was born November 10, 1949, to the late William and Fannie Mae Wilson in Winston-Salem, NC.

Constance graduated from Carver High School, Class of 1968, and attended Draughon's Business College. She worked as a security guard at Douglas Battery for nine years and then went to work for Allied Universal Security Services at Bermuda Run West Gate from which she retired.

She loved spending time with family, traveling, dancing, and participating in community events like the Black Arts Festival and the Big 4.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Curtis Reginald Wilson.

Constance leaves to cherish and to forever hold close in their hearts, her daughter, Ericka W. Smith of Advance, NC; two grandchildren, Kirston Wilson of Advance, NC and Kayla (Malik) Smith of Winston-Salem, NC; two great-grandchildren, Kaliq and Kennedy; one brother, Haywood Preston Wilson of Las Vegas, NV; sister, Alexis Tennie of Winston-Salem, NC; nieces, Prestina Wilson Gaither of Bethania, NC, Karla Wilson of Greensboro, NC, and Cherylene (Corey) Thomas of Warren, MI; one nephew, Reginald Wilson of Thomasville, AL; sister-in-law, Shirley Anna Wilson of Thomasville, AL; also left to cherish her memory are her devoted cousin, Shirley Wilson Dumas; and devoted friends, Eula Floyd and Geraldine Scales; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 2:30pm Saturday, April 1, 2023 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel.  The family visitation will be held from 2:00pm until 2:30pm on Saturday at the Chapel.
