On November 17, 2014 Connie Campbell Thomas, 73, was called to eternal rest and peace when her "loving Angels" surrounded her quietly and peacefully and carried her home.

She was born February 9, 1941 to David and Louise Campbell.
She attended St. John CME Church where she served as a dedicated servant until her failing health.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Angela Little; her husband, Michael Thomas; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories her beloved and devoted sister and brother-in-law, Lillie and Billy Jones; mother-in-law, Mrs. Ernestine Westbrook; nieces, L'Anita Jones Gore and Sharon Jones; great-niece, Jourdan Gore; great-nephews, Billy Jones and Mason Gore; a circle of dedicated and loyal friends, Patsy Rogers, Joyce Berry, Wilma Dobson, Edith George, Teretha Milner, Herman and Gertrude Brunson, and Donna French; along with a host of other relative and friends.

A homegoing celebration will be held at 12noon Monday, November 24, 2014 at St. John CME Church with Rev. Chris Manning officiating. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 11am until 12noon on Monday at the Church.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude for the care and love given to our beloved Connie to the Brian Center, Trinity Glen, Sommerset Court, and Hospice and Palliative Care. Your expressions of love, care, and devotion have brought much comfort and peace to our lives.
