On October 27, 2019 Clifford Darby Giles, III enter the gates of Heaven.  Clifford better known as "Poochie", was born on October 25, 1963 to the late Doretha Lowery, Clifford Giles, Jr. and step-father, Angus "GoGo" Lowery, Sr.

Poochie was a graduate of West Forsyth High School and later on joined the US Army. He was also a faithful member of Union Baptist Church where he was a member of the deacon board. Poochie was well known throughout the city, to know him was to love him. Poochie leaves behind so many family and friends to keep his memories alive.

In addition to his parents, Poochie was preceded in death by his brother, Jules Montane Giles.

Poochie leaves to cherish his memories his lovely wife of 10 years, Debra Giles; his only daughter, Latasha Giles; two step-sons, Rayshawn Thomas and Michael (Anknesha) Shepherd; five grandchildren; his brothers, Antonio Giles, Daryl (Jackie) Giles, and Angus (Linda) Lowery, Jr.; sister-in-law, Tammy Giles; and a host of other relative and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00noon Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at Union Baptist Church with Bishop Sir Walter Mack, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 11:00am until 12:00noon on Wednesday at the Church.
