Cletis was a graduate of Parkland High School. He was ordained as a deacon at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church under the pastorate of Senior Pastor James E. Cook. Cletis worked many years at Forsyth Medical Center as a certified patient care assistant II. He was also a faithful employee at Gifted Hands. He went peacefully to glory on Friday, February 5, 2021 at his home. Cletis was a dedicated servant of God. He served with passion and perseverance. He was no stranger to anyone. All who met him loved him. He spoke his truth. What he felt, he expressed. There was no wondering what he meant. It was clear in his actions and deeds. Not only did he love God, but he also loved his family and his church unconditionally. Cletis was an adamant "Patriot" fan.
