Obituary
Mrs. Clementine Livingston Ray, also affectionately known as Mother Ray, went to sleep Jesus' arms on Tuesday, May 8, 2012.
Clementine was born in Fairmont, NC on January 2, 1930 to Thomas Livingston Sr. and Louise Lester. She was married to Walter Ray, Jr. Four children were produced from this union.
She is survived by two daughters, Shirley Ray and Angelia Baxter; two sons, James Ray and Wayne Ray (Erika); four brothers, James E. Livingston, Thomas Livingston (Lela), Leon Livingston (Grace), and Harvey Livingston; three sisters, Lue Henry (Donell), Sallie Livingston, and Jean Stackhouse; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
A Homegoing Celebration will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, May 12, 2012 at First Waughtown Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis W. Bishop officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 12noon until 1:00pm on Saturday at the Church.
