Obituary
Mr. Clay H. Bryan, 72, departed this life on December 20, 2011 at Wake Forest Baptist Health. He was born January 2, 1939 in Sparta, NC to the late Willie N. and Cola C. Bryan.
He relocated to Winston-Salem, NC where he was employed at Lowe's for twenty years. He was then employed by Hoots Concrete for 27 years until he retired. He was a devoted member of Saint Matthew Apostolic Church.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Ferrell Bryan.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Bryan; two sons, Clay (Sandra) Bryan, Jr. and Ricky Carter; two step-sons, Herbert (Lisa) Kelly and Hilbert (Quanda) Kelly; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Delmer (Juanita) Bryan; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm Friday, December 23, 2011 at Saint Matthew Apostolic Church with Bishop Joseph P. Lowery officiating. Entombment will follow in Gardens of Memory Walkertown, NC. The family visitation will be held from 12:30pm until 1pm on Friday at the Church.
