Mother Claudine Cunningham Robinson, 72, of Winston Salem, North Carolina, earned her heavenly reward from her earthly labor on Friday, December 13, 2024, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. She was born on January 11, 1952, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina to the late Chim and Lenora Duckett Cunningham.
Mother Claudine Robinson graduated from Atkins High School and received her business degree from Rutledge Community College. She worked until her health failed and retired from the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School System where she worked as a faithful employee at the Special Children's School. Before joining the Special Children's School, she was formerly employed for many years at the Winston-Salem Journal. She was a faithful and devoted member of New Life Church of Winston Salem where she diligently served in various ministries such as the Food Pantry and Prison Ministry. She worked diligently throughout the community, serving most of her time as a mentor in the pregnancy network and the Shepherd's Center- Greater Winston. Mother Robinson dedicated her life to the lord early on, as she was a powerful interceder of prayer and a faithful woman of God. Her favorite bible scripture verse was Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans and thoughts I have for you saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." (KJV).
Claudine enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, writing poetry, listening to worship music, and playing the tambourine each Sunday as she faithfully served the lord.
Claudine leaves to cherish her memories her children, Derriane Bracey -Jean-Pierre, Tito Robinson, Michael Robinson, Doll Robinson, and Ashanti Robinson; five grandchildren, Quintin Bracey (Sasha), Tiara Bracey, Majasti Robinson, JeLisa Robinson, and Innencia Robinson; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of special nieces, nephews, siblings, and extended family. Mother Claudine Robinson's transition reminds us that angels are watching over us as she has rejoined her heavenly family and gained her wings.
