Clark David Myers, Sr., son of Maria Mines, raised by his grandparents, Henrietta and Calvin Proctor, was born February 4, 1938 in Washington, DC. On Wednesday, August 28, 2013, the Lord sent for his beloved son, Clark David Myers, SR. and granted his everlasting peace and serenity.

Clark attended school in Maryland and went in the Air Force at the age of 18.
Clark was a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Clark's loving and generous spirit will live on in the hearts of his loved ones left here to cherish his memories, his former wife, Rachel Rebecca Burnett; daughters, Linda Marie Shepherd (Jeffrey Shepherd), Jacqueline Denise Myers, and Karen Louise Pone (Fisher Pone); sons, Clark David Myers, Jr. and Vincent Gilbert (Corrine Gilbert); grandchildren, Monroe Myers, Montelese Myers, Ieshia Pankey (father, Herbert Pankey), Nyterica Pitts, Vincent Gilbert, Jr., Jeremy Myers, Danielle Myers, Justin Myers, Dustin Myers, and Porchia Drew; 15 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Memorial services will be held at 1pm Saturday, September 7, 2013 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel.
