It is with profound sadness that the Martin, Brown, and Logan families announce the home going of their husband, father, grand farther, brother, uncle, cousin, Mr. Clarence L. Martin Sr. This sad event occurred on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at his residence in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

He leaves to mourn his wife, Mrs. Beatrice S. Martin, eight children: Lionel Martin, Victoria Martin-Deranamia, Clabena Martin-Addaquay (William), Clarence L. Martin Jr. (Patience), Charles Martin, Massa Vincent-Freemen (Eric), Fulton Vincent (Precious), and Austin Miller (Cherry). 22 grand children of which 2 predeceased him, and one great grandchild. He is also survived by one sister Amelia Brown, two brothers Alex and Charles Martin, his mother-in-law Ms. Caroline Tisdell, and a host of nephews, nieces, and cousins. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory will forever be cherished in our hearts.

Funeral services will be held at 10am Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Goler Memorial AME Zion Church. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 9am until 10am on Saturday at the Church.
