Mr. Clarence Eugene Langley passed away Friday, October 23, 2009. He was born May 30, 1939 in Hemingway, SC to George and Francis Langley.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sisters, George Langley, Jr., Jimmy Langley, and Bobbie Langley; and his daughter, Doris Prince.
Left to cherish his memories are his children, Clarence "Earl" (Kim) Langley, Sandra Wilson, Teresa Wilson, Christina (Thomas) Durham, Yvonne (Darnell) Nelson, Flora (Calvin) Gantt, and Mike Garvin; brothers and sisters, Lee Coles, Robert Lee Langley, Willie Lee Langley, Nathaniel Langley, Rex Allen Langley, Geraldine Langley, and Christine Langley all of Hemingway, SC; a devoted cousin, Dudley McGee of High Point, NC; 15 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm Thursday, October 29, 2009 from the Galilee Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 12:30pm until 1pm on Thursday at the Church.
