Clara Owens Cloud departed this life on April 11, 2017 at the age of 97.

Clara worked for 42 years as both a teacher and guidance counselor in the WSFC School System.

She was married to the late Paul O. Cloud and was the mother of Carolyn Cloud (Arthur) Mims and Paul Owens (Linda) Cloud; the devoted and beloved grandmother to Holly Mims, Candice Mims, and Michelle Cloud; and the great-grandmother to Samara Mims.

The life of Clara Owens Cloud will be celebrated at 1:00pm Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church W-S, NC.  Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 12noon until 1:00pm on Tuesday at the Church.
