Christopher Leronne Brown, Sr., 52, was born January 21, 1971 to Cynthia B. Hall and Ernest Nicholas.  He passed away unexpectedly on December 19, 2023 after a brief illness.

He attended the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools and was a truck driver by trade.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Cynthia B. Hall; three aunts, Hattie B. Christian, Freddie Maxine, and Amanda E. Brown; and his grandparents, Freddie and Mac Brown.

He is survived by one daughter, Keyerra (Brandon) Molly Johnson; one son, Christopher Leronne Brown, Jr.; grandson, Jahki "Daddio" Martin; father, Ernest Nicholas; two brothers, Cedric (Beverly) Hall and Mario Cloud; special aunts, Carol B. (Robert) Dearmon and Robbie (Jerry) McDuffie; four uncles, James (Deborah) Brown, Johnny Ray (Diane) Brown, Bobby Nicholas, and Charles Nicholas; his best friend, Lamont "Toot" Atwater; devoted mentor, Susan Frye; a special cousin, Ronnie Christian; and a host of other cousins and friends.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Russell Funeral Home.

Funeral services are planned for 12:00noon Friday, December 29, 2023 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Rock Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Walnut Cove, NC. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12:00noon on Friday at the Chapel.
