IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Christopher Elijah
Jennings-Allen
September 18, 2022
Christopher Elijah Jennings-Allen was born October 17, 1989 in Baltimore MD, to the late Carson Lee Allen Sr. and Lessie Mae Jennings-Thompson.
He began his early education in Winston-Salem, NC Forsyth County Schools. After relocating to Washington, DC he finished his education at Woodrow Wilson High School.
Later he would return back to Winston Salem. After gaining his Commercial License he worked for Colonial Materials, and Smith Phillips Lumber Co. In 2014, Christopher landed a job with Tyson Chicken in Wilkesboro NC. He moved within the company to Columbia, SC and with sheer dedication, he rose to the position of Plant Manager in Corydon, IN. He made these advances with his sons by his side enjoying the places, travel and experiences with him.
Christopher enjoyed laughter while making many close friends and coworkers. His greatest joy in life was his boys. He was considered the greatest dad. Not just by them, but by others as well. His extensive family meant the world to him. He was the grill master to those who knew and loved him, at work, home or with friends. He will be remembered and missed by many.
To know him was to love him.
He leaves to cherish his memories four sons, Christopher Elijah Jennings- Allen, Jr., Kayden Lamar Allen, Carson Lee Allen, and Kobe Joe Allen; step-father, Nathaniel Thompson of Maryland; sibling and step siblings, Juanita Williams, Timothy Jennings, Belvin (Khadijah) Lyles, of Winston Salem, NC, Yolanda (Steven) Young, Tonya (Mark) Bodrick; Lakesha Thompson of Maryland; aunts and uncles, Roberta Bradley, Regina Branche, Diane Moore, Claudette Moore, Gracie (Earnest) George, Tyrone Moore, Anthony Taylor, and Florine Jones all from Maryland; great aunt, Grace Amos; special nieces and nephews, Terrell Taylor, Tierra Williams, and Dominique Mallette; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and a special friend, Marina.
The family would like to extend special thanks Tyson Chicken of Corydon, IN for their support and monetary contributions to the family during our time of loss.
