Mr. Christopher Valiant Holland, the beloved son of Mrs. Ozelle S. Holland and Mr. Bobby B. Holland Sr. Christopher made his transition into eternal life at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice & Palliative Care Center Saturday, January 6, 2007. He was born September 25, 1958 in Boston, Mass.

Over the past 20 years, Christopher had a progressive career in the world of computer technology and information sciences. His career began during his duty in the US Army, leaving with an Honorable Discharge, SP4 Ranking. He later worked with Government Agencies, including Thinking Machines.

After a move back to NC he was first employed Wachovia Services, Christopher furthered his career and opportunities becoming Vice President/Systems Architectural Consultant/Capital Marketing with Bank of America in Charlotte, NC.

He was preceded in death by his father.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his beloved mother Ozelle Holland; his son, Ian and his mother Rachel Holland of Atlanta, Ga.; two brothers, Bobby Holland Jr. (Betty) and Antonio Holland; one sister, Kathy Holland all of Winston-Salem, NC; his grandmother, Kate Stimpson of East Bend, NC; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon Friday, January 12, 2006 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Allen Stimpson officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Family visitation will be held from 11:30 am until 12 Noon Friday at the funeral home.
