Obituary
Mrs. Christine Delores Davis was born on December 26, 1931 in Winston-Salem, NC to Lester and Nancy Lynch. She departed her earthly home on July 30, 2007.
Mrs. Davis was a graduate of Winston-Salem Teachers College (WSSU) and was a member of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, where she served faithfully on the Senior Choir and other auxiliaries until her health begin to decline.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marvin Davis; and her daughter, Karen Caldwell.
Left to cherish her memories are five children, Maggie Watson, Anna Caldwell, Cynthia Caldwell, Ernestine Dixon, and George Caldwell, Jr.; as well as a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm Friday, August 3, 2007 from the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Mack McConnel officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 12 noon until 1pm on Friday at the Chapel
