Mrs. Christine "Toy" Brown was born on December 19, 1938 to the late Mr. Monroe Timmons and Mrs. Jessie Mae Timmons. She entered into her eternal rest on June 23, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem, NC.

A native of Timmonsville, South Carolina, she attended Gibbs High School. She married Isiah Brown and soon afterward moved to Winston Salem. She worked for Thomasville Furniture Company where she retired after 20 years of service. Christine was a member of Fellowship Church under the pastorship of Anthony Jones.

Christine leaves to cherish her wonderful memories three sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Jordan of Florence, SC, Mrs. Norma Jean (Emmanual) Burris of Pamplico, SC, and Yvonne Little of Winston-Salem, NC:  four brothers, Monroe Timmons, Jr. of Montclair, NJ, Jessie (Olivia) Timmons and Ernest (Annette) Timmons both of Florence, SC, and Frankie Timmons of Myrtle Beach, SC; 18 nieces, 13 nephews and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Fellowship Church, 2800 E. Sprague Street with Minister Jonathan Gore officiating. The family visitation will be held from 12:00noon until 1:00pm on Saturday at the Church.
