Obituary
Cheryl Wilborn Yancey of Murrells Inlet, SC died Saturday, October 25, 2014. She was born October 7, 1961 in Wilkes County.
Ms. Yancey was a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Walkertown, NC.
She was employed as a nurse with Dr. Elizabeth F. Sherertz, MD, MBA in Murrells Inlet, Sc.
She was preceded in death by her father, Garfield Wilborn, Jr.
She is survived by two children, Anjelica Yancey and Andrew Yancey both of Winston-Salem, NC; five grandchildren, Kamiyah, Janiyah, Zariyah, Andrew Jr., and McKayla; mother, Mrs. Mildred Wilborn of Roaring River, NC; two sisters, Carol Chambers and husband Thomas of Virginia Beach, VA, and Rita Millsaps and husband Joel of North Wilkesboro, NC; three brothers, Timmy Wilborn and wife Jennie of Roaring River, NC, Randall Wilborn of Roaring River, NC, and Sandy Wilborn and wife Gloria of Indianapolis, IN; and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, and nieces.
Funeral services will be held at 12noon Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Walkertown, NC. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 11am until 12noon on Wednesday at the Church.
