Cheryl Lorraine Moses was born November 20, 1961 and departed this earthly life unexpectedly on January 7, 2015.


Cheryl graduated from West Forsyth High School and was last employed with Winston-Salem Transit Authority until her health issues forced disability.


Cheryl was preceded in death by her mother, Pauline Moses; and her brother, Ramon Moses.


She is survived by her father, Joniest (Victoria) Moses; son, Paul Moses; grandson, JaQuez Moses; brother, John Moses; three sisters, Angela (Johnnie) Miller, Veronica Moses, and Linda Miller; two nephews, Girard Miller, Jr. and "Lil Mari"; two nieces, Tia Moses and Nikki Miller; a longtime friend, Wayne Fox; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
"Gone from our presence…..always, always in our hearts."


Funeral services will be held at 12noon Thursday, January 15, 2015 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dwight Hash officiating and Reverend James Moses eulogist. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 11am until 12noon on Thursday at the Chapel.
